This Privacy Policy explains how VetLit.org collects, uses and protects your personal information when you use the website or subscribe to our educational updates. The VetLit website is an educational resource. By using the VetLit website, you consent to the data practices described in this statement. This policy may change from time to time so please check it periodically. VetLit.org is operated by Simon Cook.

The details which you provide about yourself and any information which identifies you such as your name or email address (“Personal Information”) will only be retained by us if you provide this information voluntarily when using one of the services available on our website, such as subscribing to one of our email lists. Personal Information will be held on our system and used for operational purposes such as managing mailing list subscriptions and tailoring of e-mail content.

VetLit only collects and uses your personal information to operate and deliver the services you have requested.

The Personal Information you supply when you join one of our e-mail lists will be used by VetLit to keep you up to date with literature and the activities of VetLit. 

We may occasionally contact you about new educational resources, newsletters, podcasts or other VetLit activities that we believe are relevant to your interests.

Each e-mail we send you offers you the opportunity to unsubscribe from our e-mail.

If you would like to revise the information provided to us at any time, or feel what we currently have on record is incorrect, you may update the information by e-mailing simon@vetlit.org

VetLit does not sell, rent, or lease its subscription lists to third parties.

Correcting or updating of personal information

If your Personal Information changes or if you no longer wish to subscribe to the service, we will endeavour to correct, update or remove the Personal Information provided to us as speedily as possible. This can be done by emailing us at simon@vetlit.org.

Like most websites, VetLit.org uses non personally identifying information about your computer hardware and software. This information is used to improve the operation of the service, to maintain quality of the service, and to provide statistics regarding use of the VetLit website.
